Portrait does not seem to be the right word when talking about what I want to create for you! Taking these beautiful snippets of your life and turning them into stunning works of art to cherish forever - is the goal I have for you. I like to find the emotion in the moment you are in - the laughter, the quiet thought, the love you feel, in a natural way that doesn’t make you feel like you are acting for a session. We are going to laugh, share stories and have our own little adventure.
I am a mom to a sweet boy full of energy and wife to an amazing man who supports my constant need to keep my hands busy. I consider myself a creator, always needing to create something - stained glass, cross stich, knitting, these hands need to stay busy! About the only time I slow down is when I am reading - and to be honest, I read way too much!
My creator aspect has a heavy hand in how I see the world through my lens - it is a large part of why I believe portraits need to be art. It isn’t just a photo, it is a beautiful album sitting on the coffee table, a stunning frame in your living room, it is your life as Art!
